Michigan used the grad-transfer rule this past offseason to get former Iowa QB Jake Rudock to transfer in and be the team’s starter. Might the Wolverines be looking to add another impact player for next year?
While not mentioning anyone by name, according to Scout.com’s Sam Webb ($), there is a USC player that could be interested in playing in Ann Arbor next season if he doesn’t turn pro.

A one-time USC running back, Ty Isaac transferred to the Wolverines following his freshman season and had to sit out a year. The player Webb has in mind would be eligible to play immediately.
One player mentioned on The Michigan Insider board, but not confirmed by any means, is safety Leon McQuay. Interestingly enough, the former five-star UM safety target tweeted out the following a few days ago about graduating early:
