Only four teams have attracted more money than Jim Harbaugh’s Wolverines in the national championship futures pool at the SuperBook. A 100-1 long shot, Michigan also is fifth in number of overall bets.
Consensus favorite Ohio State, 5-2, is by far the most popular national title bet. Nearly four times more money has been wagered on the Buckeyes than any other team. Alabama has attracted the second most money, followed by Auburn, Notre Dame and Michigan.
Michigan is a 6-point underdog to Utah in the week 1 matchup, and also 14-point underdog to Ohio State on November 28th.
