Delvon Roe, a former Michigan State player, had some harsh words following the announcement that five-star guard Tyus Battle decommitted from Michigan.
Tyus Battle just saved his career.. Life for that matter. #BlueBalled #GoGreen

While news that Battle more than likely won’t be playing his college basketball in Ann Arbor is a low blow, this tweet from Roe, who started three seasons for the Spartans but had to retire from basketball due to knee issues, seems over the top.

Anthony Wright, a former Michigan player, responded to Roe’s comments:
You #kneed to chill.. Don't be mad because you came to our open gym as a recruit and got smacked https://t.co/GHYzyLTMJW
