Avery Johnson Jr., the son of new Alabama coach Avery Johnson, will transfer from Texas A&M to Alabama. Jr., who averaged 1.4 points in limited action as a freshman, will have to sit out next year before having three years left of eligibility. Johnson Jr. was a three-star prospect coming out of high school.
