Five-star center Caleb Swanigan announced his commitment to Michigan State in early April. However, after the Fort Wayne, Indiana product hadn’t signed his LOI in nearly a month, many began to wonder whether he would stick with the Spartans.
Well on Thursday, Swanigan officially decommitted from Michigan State according to Scout’s Evan Daniels.

While Jeff Goodman notes that Purdue is a prime player in Swanigan’s recruitment, Kentucky, originally a finalist, will certainly look to get back into it with the No. 18 prospect in the 2015 class. Could Cal, which has five-stars Jaylen Brown and Ivan Rabb already in the class, also land Swanigan?
