Michigan officially has gotten one grad-transfer in the form of Stanford DB Wayne Lyons. Two other grad-transfers, Iowa QB Jake Rudock and Notre Dame C Matt Hegarty, could be also be joining next year’s team. According to Scout.com’s Sam Webb, N.D. is allowing Michigan to go after Hegarty ($).
This is no guarantee Hegarty is coming to Michigan. Hegarty, who started 13 career games for the Irish, has already visited Arizona and Florida State. The former four-star recruit would be a nice addition at the center position with Jack Miller departing the team, Graham Glasgow’s suspension and Mason Cole possibly moving over from left tackle.
