The big games for the week and my predictions.
- Michigan State at Wisconson. This game has a lot of meaning for the Big Ten. Both teams are undefeated and want to start 1-0 in the conference. I want State to win this game strictly for next week’s game against Michigan. Wisconson is not an easy win because they have a strong running game and defense. My pick: Wisconsin.
- Texas at Oklahoma. After last week’s upset to UCLA, it is especially important for Texas to win this divisional game. Oklahoma is ranked 8th, but hasn’t played great this season. I think Texas will win this game.
- Florida at Alabama. There is far less publicity for this year’s FLA-Alabama game. Whoever ends up winning this game will be in the driver seat, which I think will be Alabama and Mark Ingram.
- Stanford at Oregon. Oregon has a fast paced offense that can score points in bunches (ask Tennessee and Arizona State). Stanford is a very solid football team with quarterback, Andrew Luck. This is a hard game to predict but I go with the home team, Oregon.
- Penn State at Iowa. Penn State lost to Alabama and struggles with the inexperience at quarterback. Iowa should beat Penn State with the experience.
