The Soo Greyhounds were taking on the Barrie Colts in an OHL matchup on Thursday night when Greyhounds goalie Brandon Halverson scored a devastatingly terrible own-goal. He tried to pass the puck across the crease to his defenseman and fired the puck into his own net. The goal made the game 4-3, but Soo would hang on for the win.
At least Halverson, a New York Rangers prospect, took it in stride.
