The Michigan coaching staff is trying to get an early jump on the 2016 recruiting class. Earlier today they offered Paramus Catholic’s Rashan Gary, the No. 2 player in 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.

Paramus Catholic is the same school that sent Jabrill Peppers to Michigan. The High School also recently hired Blake Costanzo, a former 49ers player under Jim Harbaugh. Gary is sure to see offers from every major program, but Michigan will certainly help their case if they can get the 6-foot-4, 285 pounder on campus. Gary also has family in Detroit.
