Kyrie Irving was the No. 1 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. The following year, the Cleveland Cavaliers took Dion Waiters No. 4. The two guards played part of three-seasons together, but after yesterday’s deal that sent Waiters to OKC Thunder, the two will no-longer be teammates.
According to Sam Amico, Waiters not only resisted his coach during the season, but he also believed he was “better than Kyrie Irving”.
We’ll see if the new scenery helps Waiters.
