D-III Team Wins Game With TD Pass Off Muffed FG Attempt

SUNY Cortland was lining up to kick a field goal to tie the game with Ithaca to send the battle for the Cortaca Jug to overtime. It was just a chipshot but Cortland’s holder bobbled the snap and made a brilliant, quick-thinking decision to try and throw a touchdown pass. In the chaos a player for Cortland got open and the holder ended up throwing the game-winning touchdown pass.
