On Friday, Damian Lillard sat out of Team USA’s exhibition vs. Puerto Rico as a DNP-coach’s decision, meaning he was healthy. After the game, a Twitter user, @Vin_Lee, tweeted at Dame, telling him that the 2 of them played the same amount of minutes in today’s game. Lillard responded hilariously, asking the kid if the 2 made the same amount of money today as well. I’m thinking the answer to that question is no, as the Portland Trail Blazer signed a 13 year/$185 million shoe deal with Adidas back in April.
It’d be a shame if Lillard didn’t make the team’s roster, as he’s one of the country’s most exhilarating, young point guards.
