Never let it be said that I didn’t try. Apparently the Vikings want to do this the hard way.

It was always to be expected that the Minnesota Vikings-Chris Kluwe situation was always going to get sticky and today it erupted. The Vikings suspended their Special Teams coach Mike Priefer three games for his anti-gay comments towards Kluwe, which can be reduced to two games if he undergoes sensitivity training. Chris Kluwe went off on Twitter because the Vikings wouldn’t agree to his settlement demands and he is now going to sue them. Read through the timeline, remember to start at the bottom for the oldest tweets.
Also interesting how so many are willing to follow the Vikings’ false lead with the leak about me, and not the admission of Priefer’s guilt. — Chris Kluwe (@ChrisWarcraft) July 19, 2014
Kluwe will sue #Vikings next week. His attorney says they believe they can get $10 million in damages.

Vikings K Blair Walsh told investigators Kluwe “loves the attention,” “was focused on everything but football,” wanted to be in spotlight. — ProFootballTalk (@ProFootballTalk) July 19, 2014
Stay tuned, folks. This is going to get very bad for the Vikings, especially the two players that were allegedly caught with an underage girl, and I’m going to assume that Kluwe doesn’t have any skeletons in his closet if he’s coming this hard at them. My only question is if he was still on the Vikings, would he be this upset about what his coach had said and still going to get him suspended?
