GM Daryl Morey & the Rockets are making a pitch to free agent superstar Carmelo Anthony and one of their tactics will be showing him this sign outside their arena of him in a Houston jersey. The current owner of that #7 jersey, Jeremy Lin, was not very pleased when he saw the team was using his jersey without his position:

Though Lin would have to be dealt in order for Houston to take on Melo’s likely expensive salary, they probably should’ve told him they were doing this beforehand.
