Victor Rudd puts forward serious ‘Dunk of the Year’ candidate

USF’s Victor Rudd should probably be participating in the dunk competition at the NBA All-Star game next weekend. Rudd had a 2 on 1 fastbreak off of a turnover with teammate John Egbunu, but rightfully so decided to posterize Rutgers’ Junior Etou instead of passing.

This is easily the best dunk I’ve seen this year at the college basketball level, maybe at any level. This kid was trying to do what Vince Carter did to Frederic Weiss and almost succeeded, still throwing down the hammer anyways.
