Denver University’s Club Hockey team wins in bizarre fashion

This is probably something you’ve never seen before.
Last Friday night, Denver University’s ACHA Club Hockey team beat Utah State on a ridiculous shorthanded goal. Utah State’s goaltender was apparently talking to a fan and hadn’t realized that the puck had dropped, leaving the net wide open for Denver’s Robert Biedron to send the puck all the way down the ice for the game winner. What makes the goal even more peculiar is that it was shorthanded, came from a defenseman, and was scored in overtime.
