After Clemson Tigers quarterback Tajh Boyd threw an interception to give Ohio State the ball back and one last chance to score, Buckeyes quarterback Braxton Miller threw an interception. Or at least, so the refs said. The call on the field stood, that Stephone Anthony had intercepted the pass, but it looks pretty questionable. It doesn’t appear that Anthony controlled the ball through the process of the catch and never truly had a hold on the football. If Calvin Johnson’s touchdown was called off against Chicago in 2010, I don’t see how this could be called an interception.
