South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney is still one of the best college football players in the country and will still be a top 3 pick. ESPN has been dying to talk about Clowney, but because they can’t discuss his dominance without any statistical support, they chose to bash him and tear him down. Just a heads up, just because a player doesn’t have good statistics doesn’t automatically make him a bad player. How is Clowney supposed to make a tackle while taking on three blockers? He’s not going to, but he still blew the play up and forced the running back to cut back. The running back would have lost yards if Clowney’s teammates had made a tackle, but the point is Clowney is still a major force.
