Sonic has started to release their first batch of “Team Steam” Burgers, putting college team logos on the burger bun and creating special burgers for each specific school.
According to Bleacher Report:
Sonic’s first wave of “team steam” burgers will feature logos from the University of Oklahoma and other colleges in Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Each school’s burger will have different toppings and ingredients meant to capture its unique school spirit.
Oklahoma fans will be treated to the Sooner Brisket Cheeseburger, which sounds like a rodeo in your mouth—a sensation everyone should taste at least once in a lifetime.
Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns supporters will bite into a burger stuffed with Tabasco spicy mayo, pepper jack cheese and onion rings.
The logo is a tapioca starch which is steamed onto the burger, making it edible. The burgers themselves will run between $3.99 and $4.99 and will only be around for the next three months so get them while you can.
