I’m sure everyone remembers the incident during the Green Bay Packers-Seattle Seahawks game where the replacement referees called a touchdown on a play that shouldn’t have been a touchdown. At a recent charity softball game, Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate was photographed with the replacement referee Lance Easley that called the play a touchdown. Tate, as you may recall, was the player that caught the infamous touchdown that pretty much ended the referee lockout.

Many of the players there used this as a running joke throughout the event, which even Russell Wilson got in on.
Touchception ref with a questionable "safe" call on a ball at first. Russell Wilson argues, throws hat, throws base, all in jest.

It’s a lot easier to joke about the incident now since both the Packers and the Seahawks made the playoffs. And even though the Packers lose home field to the San Francisco 49ers because of it, something tells me that still wouldn’t have helped them stop Colin Kaepernick.
