South Florida Bulls’ fifth-year senior punter Justin Brockhaus-Kann received an award for Special Teams Player of the Year award at halftime of the USF-Louisville basketball game. This is good news for him obviously, but unfortunately for him that isn’t the end of the story. Apparently five years wasn’t enough for Brockhaus-Kann to make an impact on USF, because the award he was given had misspellings everywhere, including his name. My guess is that this was just a half-ass job by the awards company but still, the fact that it wasn’t double-checked by the school or the company is a huge insult to Justin and the job he did for the football team. Thankfully the school is going to get him a new award, but this doesn’t make USF look very good at all.
