Brent Musburger has taken a serious amount of flack ever since his comments about Katherine Webb during the BCS National Championship game; despite the fact that she wasn’t offended and thought that it was a compliment. On Monday night, as he was saying good bye to viewers after Kansas thumped Baylor 61-44, it sounded as though he said that Holly Rowe “was really smoking tonight.”
Upon another listen, it sounds as though he said “it was really smoking tonight,” which begs the question of what does he mean by “it?”
Simply stated: "Brent said the word 'it.' We are moving on."

ESPN issued this tweet and is moving on from it, but it still doesn’t answer the question of what he was talking about. The game wasn’t particularly interesting, and neither team shot very well. I guess we’re just going to have to accept that Brent Musburger is senile and we won’t always know what he is talking about anymore.
