Bissonnette is known far more for his antics on Twitter and self-deprocating humor. He is a notoriously bad hockey player and is often a healthy-scratch when he is on the Phoenix Coyotes roster. Now, he has joined the Cardiff Devils of the United Kingdom Elite Ice Hockey League, and scored a goal in his debut against the Braehead Clan.
With Bissonnette’s new found scoring touch, perhaps he could take it back to the NHL with him and contribute more. After all, he already matched his goal total from last year in the NHL with one shift in the EIHL. Sure it wasn’t an awesome goal, but when you’re BizNasty you have to take what you can get.
As the NHL lockout going on longer, more players have started to head over to Europe to try and stay in shape and to try and make some money.
