Sammy Watkins finally gets his first touchdown of the year vs Wake

Going into the game, Clemson Tigers wide receiver Sammy Watkins had only 202 receiving yards and 0 touchdowns.  He managed to double that total against Wake Forest by putting up 202 receiving yards on 8 receptions and one touchdown.

It’s safe to say that Sammy Watkins is back playing the way people were expecting him to when the year started.  He is an explosive playmaker that can only be matched by a few players in college football.
