Even though his Denver Broncos accomplished something that’s only happened five times in NFL history, coming back from 24-0 deficit at halftime, Peyton Manning was not happy about a call during the end of the game.
Manning was upset about an offensive pass interference called on Eric Decker that would have sealed the victory for his Broncos. It was a long, arduous game and at this point, Manning was losing his patience and just wanted it over.
How many players can get away with yelling into the refs ear like this? The ref is completely rigid, hoping the tirade will end and not have to call a penalty on Manning. Any guesses what might have happened if this had been a replacement ref?
