Eric Decker has a wide open shot for a touchdown and falls (GIF)

First off, how did Eric Decker get this wide open?  And then, after running with the ball and having nothing but green in front of him, he falls down and ends up with only a 55 yard reception?  I felt bad for Decker.

Peyton Manning was obviously disappointed, and things were made worse when Manning threw a pick six a few plays later.  It ended up being a 14-point swing in San Diego’s favor, simply because Decker couldn’t make it into the end zone.  If Denver ends up losing, Decker is going to feel even worse.
