I missed this one completely at first glance, I was obviously far too upset at Jose Valverde for single-handedly blowing another game, and I was also far too much in shock that Raul Ibanez had also come through in the clutch, again.
Looking at this again though, this is by far ]the biggest baseball glove that I have ever seen in my entire life. It’s really too bad that a home run was hit right to him, and he still missed it. Rarely will you ever get a chance to catch a home run ball and it should have been very easy given the size of this glove.
Definitely a rough night for this Yankees fan. You miss a home run with your oversize glove, then Derek Jeter breaks his ankle, and then your team goes on to lose game 1 of the ALCS
