A five-star Georgia native will stay at home but not play the Bulldogs. Josh Petty, an elite offensive lineman in the 2025 class, announced his commitment to Georgia Tech on Monday:
BREAKING: Five-Star IOL Josh Petty has Committed to Georgia Tech, he tells me for @on3recruits
The 6’5 265 IOL from Roswell, GA chose the Yellow Jackets over FSU, Ohio State, & Tennessee
Is the 2nd Highest-Ranked recruit to ever Commit to Ga Tech🤯https://t.co/Nbbe7NK6fI pic.twitter.com/uJOZCOAqFN

Petty, a top 25 recruit, picked the Yellow Jackets over Ohio State and Florida State. This has made some OSU fans very upset with OL coach Justin Frye:
Wow. Frye has to go.

Losing David Sanders will be disastrous largely because Frye has no backup plan and under offered the field.
I’m not entirely sure we can put Josh Petty to GT on Frye though as much as I’d like to. Having Stanford and GT in top 5 points to factors of outside football.

The Buckeyes are also trying to land top 5 recruit David Sanders Jr., who is expected to announce later this week, but has seen some Tennessee predictions.
