Michigan Lands Former NFL Standout To Join Coaching Staff

The same day as landing OSU RB coach Tony Alford, Michigan is in-line to land another coach. According to 247sports’ Matt Zenitz, long-time NFL LB Pernell McPhee is set to join the staff on a support role:

Michigan is pursuing former NFL standout outside linebacker Pernell McPhee for a defensive support staff role, sources tell @247Sports.

McPhee has a history with DC Wink Martindale as he played for him while the two were with the Ravens.
