With news of Jim Harbaugh heading back to the NFL to take the LA Chargers job, Michigan could see some current members of the team enter the transfer portal. Michigan players will have 30 days to enter the transfer portal now that Harbaugh is leaving:

Alabama and Washington, two other final four teams, saw a huge jump in transfer portal entrees after their coaches departed/retired.
That being said, Michigan has players returning that other coaches would love to add. So if anyone comes in and makes substantial offers, that could obviously be enticing.

We’ll see how it all unfolds in Ann Arbor but the expectation is that Sherrone Moore will be named the next coach.
Here’s OSU media on Michigan’s transfer portal prospects:
Johnson would get the most NIL cash. Next would be Kenneth Grant and Mason Graham. Then Edwards. It's no different than the NFL: corners and good DTs are more valuable than RBs. https://t.co/X5pmwonbSi
