Former No. 1 Ranked QB Recruit Enters Transfer Portal For USC

After one season at USC, former five-star and ESPN’s No. 1 recruit QB Malachi Nelson will be entering the transfer portal it has been confirmed

Confirmed with a source that USC QB Malachi Nelson told the staff he is entering the transfer portal. He was the No. 1 recruit in the last cycle. First reported by @mzenitz

With USC expected to bring in Kansas State QB Will Howard to take over the job once Caleb Williams departs for the NFL, this move by Nelson is someone unexpected.

Nelson, a California native, originally picked Arizona, Utah and many other programs.

He will certainly be one of the most sought after players in the portal.
