While nothing ‘really’ has been broken in terms on NCAA rules (yet), it seems like it is only a matter of time. Conner Stalions had reportedly attended a game against a team that Michigan played, which would be breaking an NCAA rule.
Chris Balas, a senior editor at Michigan’s On3 website, confirming on Andy Staples’ show what Birm had hinted at earlier – Stalions himself was at the game of a Michigan opponent in-person “very recently.”

So far, it seems like Michigan just hired outside people to attend the games, not actual staff members, which doesn’t appear to be an NCAA violation. Neither is the sign stealing.
However, if the expenses were $15,000 as was reported by WaPo, the paper trail is going to lead somewhere. Was it entirely a Stalions operation?
