In Harlon Barnett’s first game as interim coach with Mel tucker serving a suspension due to sexual assault allegations, Michigan State got blown out by Washington on Saturday 41-7. Graham Couch, a MSU sports journalist for the Lansing State Journal then went out to say the following:
Just imagine if MSU was actually a football-only school, like so many are. If you're Ohio State, U-M, Georgia, Alabama or Florida and this happens, you're gutted for 11 months. Because no matter how good you are in hoops, you really don't care. MSU fans are lucky in that regard.

Others:
Noticeable surge in the ovation and cheering as MSU's football team showed up on the big screen in the tunnel and then took the field.
Should be a fun game. If you're not here, it's on Peacock. If the game goes poorly, seven seasons of "New Girl" episodes.

A reminder to fans at Spartan Stadium, when you're booing the coaching decision and not the players, it's "CAW CAW!". Not "BOO!"
I thought we established this last year.
