Ryan Day Making Excuses For OSU Offense Being Less Explosive?

Ryan Day, talking with media following last weekend’s Ohio State game, said that the new rules that the clock does not stop after first down, has led the Buckeyes to being a less efficient and explosive scoring offense:

Day and the Buckeyes scored 23 and 35 points in their first two games. They play Western Kentucky Saturday in Columbus.

Ohio State is also bringing in a new quarterback in Kyle McCord, who has been announced as the permanent starter moving forward.
