JJ McCarthy had a young fan help pump him up before the Wolverines took on UNLV. The young fan, Thor, who apparently has been dealing with some health issues, got front and center of his post: “My man Thor got me right with that pep talk.”

I had the privilege of coaching Thor last fall for flag football. Great kid. He wasn’t able to finish the season due to the leukemia…but he is a fighter and is coming out on top. He loves him some football, so stoked for him that he got to meet you. #goblue〽️
