Alante Brown, a starting DB for Michigan State, suffered a ‘mild’ concussion during MSU’s win over Central Michigan in week 1. Brown, who briefly left the game, passed the ‘initial’ screening from the team doctors and was let right back in. You can see the hit below:
Well, if Michigan State was looking for cause to fire Mel Tucker (and his entire coaching staff and the entire Michigan State medical staff), allowing Alante Brown to RETURN TO THE GAME after this is certainly reason.pic.twitter.com/SZyeTTOvSs

The team doctors, upon seeing the video of the hit, took Brown out for the second half.
Wow. No MSU doctors bothered to look at video of the hit before allowing him to return to game action. Once they did view video, they pulled him out. The next day, he had concussion symptoms. https://t.co/i8tlIv8axM

The Spartans training staff shared that they will use video to assist them moving forward.
It is horrifying to learn Michigan State medical personnel did not see Alante Brown fall unconscious to the turf – live OR on replay – before allowing Brown to return after they carted him off on a spine board last Friday.https://t.co/eoJ70JhZRf
