While Not Being A Captain, JJ McCarthy Certainly Has A Leadership Role For Michigan

JJ McCarthy certainly has the respect from his teammates, but wasn’t a candidate for the captain role due to being a junior:

Zak Zinter says J.J. McCarthy wasn't on the captaincy ballot this year because he wasn't a senior or above. But will "definitely" be one of the team leaders.
