Sounds Like Two Programs Are Standing Out For Nation’s Top Recruit QB Bryce Underwood

Having visited both programs several times over the last few months, Bryce Underwood, a Belleville, Michigan native and the No. 1 player in the 2025 class, looks like he could be favoring LSU and Michigan. Steve Wiltfong, an insider for 247sports, detailed Underwood’s recruitment with a decision expected in January:

Belleville (Mich.) High five-star junior quarterback Bryce Underwood has a decision date scheduled for Jan. 9. Sources indicate that that timeline could move up with Michigan and LSU battling for the coveted passer and two-time state champion. He visited both at the end of July. Other schools have continued to try and make a move with the talented Underwood, but LSU and Michigan continue to lead the pack.
