The Wolverines hosted five-star and top 10 recruit Justin Scott for a visit in June. Battling Notre Dame, Ohio State and Miami, there have been some rumblings about Michigan’s standing with the Chicago product. On3’s Chad Simmons gives the latest:
Michigan had Justin Scott on campus last weekend. The Wolverines are still working to be a player for Scott. There has been some talk about Wolverines since the official visit. The Chicago native almost committed to Notre Dame early in the year. After taking a multi-day visit to Miami in the spring, things quickly shifted toward the Hurricanes. Georgia has been mentioned too, but not much recently. Last fall, Ohio State was a favorite. The Buckeyes have been a constant in this race and they have to be taken seriously. Both received official visits in June, but Mario Cristobal‘s program has been trending for the five-star defensive lineman.
