In the heat of the moment things will certainly get out of hand. And while the field goal try by Justin Tucker is questionable and it looks like it may not have gone in, Bill Belichick grabbing a referee spells bad news for him. You can guarantee that he will receive a call from Commissioner Roger Goodell about the incident and he will certainly be fined. The NFL has been trying to protect the replacement officials and keep them from being intimidated by the NFL coaches. This incident will allow Goodell to set a precedent, this time with plenty of proof, and I would expect him to be harsh. The only question that remains is how much will Belichick’s fine be?
