But let’s not forget about McNamara, who delivered Michigan a Big 10 title last year a win over OSU and a Playoff appearance. #12 is going to be needed moving forward:

I will always have a special place in my heart for Cade McNamara. He was a leader of Michigans turnaround a year ago. He was the QB who broke the Ohio State streak, and for that he’s in Michigan history forever. But it is JJ McCarthy’s time… and man is that gonna be fun

JJ McCarthy clearly deserves to be Michigan's starting QB, and Cade McNamara has not played well these first two games, but the way the crowd is treating a guy who just helped lead Michigan to its best season in 25 years… it's disappointing. McNamara deserves respect.
