Bates, a one-time Michigan State pledge who is from Ypsi, said the following on if he were to pick Michigan as a one-time Sparty pledge.
I’m not really going to let it faze me. The way I look at it, I’m just going to go to college wherever I feel is best for me. No matter which school it is.
The 6-foot-9 guard also talked about his relationship with Juwan Howard.
