While Michigan and head coach Juwan Howard released statements accepting their role in the altercation following the Wisconsin game, the Badgers Athletic Department released this one saying that they will be paying for Greg Gard’s fine and that they were trying to de-escalate the situation:

Not a single member of Wisconsin’s staff got suspended including assistant Joe Krabbenhoft:
Wisconsin’s Greg Gard will not be suspended and will be fined $10K, source told @Stadium. No suspension or fine expected for assistant Joe Krabbenhoft.
Three players will be suspended for one game: Moussa Diabate and Terrance Williams of Michigan, and Jahcobi Neath of Wisconsin.
