Michigan Set To Host Five-Star Recruit, Battling With A Rival

Samuel M’Pemba, a five-star defensive lineman out of IMG Academy, is apparently favoring Notre Dame at the moment. However, as On3’s Chad Simmons shares, Michigan, with new DL coach Mike Elston on staff, the Wolverines are set to host the top 15 2023 recruit:

With Brian Kelly at LSU and Mike Elston at Michigan, new head coach Marcus Freeman has gotten much more involved in M’Pemba’s recruitment. With Elston in Ann Arbor, Michigan will get a visit over spring break too, but Notre Dame is still viewed as a top school for M’Pemba.
