With Brian Kelly off to LSU, several Notre Dame pledges were caught blindsided by the news. Amorion Walker, a three-star athlete out of Louisiana who is a top target of the Wolverines, tweeted the following:

All signs point to the Maize and Blue in the recruitment of the Louisiana native.
Kelly also took the job while at Tobias Merriweather’s house, a ND pledge:
Interesting note: Brian Kelly was in-home with On300 recruit Tobias Merriweather tonight as the news broke.
Remember, Merriweather's dad is from Detroit. Michigan was set to get a visit this fall before he committed to ND. The Wolverines also happen to need a WR.
