Talking to my colleague Brandon Huffman, it seems like the Wolverines have put themselves in prime position to land Josh Conerly thanks to the efforts of ace recruiter Sherrone Moore. The atmosphere in Ann Arbor, the program prestige on and off the field, and the relationship with Moore in the staff have made Conerly very comfortable. Michigan will aim to hold off in-state Washington, Oklahoma, Texas, Oregon and Alabama as Conerly continues to take his time with the process. The only official visit taken to date was the one to Ann Arbor for the Mazie and Blue’s victory over the Huskies. That was his second time on the Big Ten program’s campus and sounds like he could come back for the Ohio State game too.
