Harbaugh Gives Update On Ronnie Bell’s Status Moving Forward

Michigan WR Ronnie Bell, who was injured in the opener on a punt return, will have surgery and be out for some time:

Ronnie Bell will have his knee surgery this week. Harbaugh says he’ll be on crutches for a month, followed by a several-month recovery. They expect him to be present with the current team still.

Bell certainly won’t be playing this year but who knows what could happen for next year with the senior, who was Michigan’s top WR heading into the year.
