Former UM And Current OSU Coach Believed To Be Taking SEC DC Job

While spending one season in Ann Arbor before jetting to Columbus, former LB coach Al Washington is believed to be taking the Tennessee DC job, FootballScope reports:

Multiple sources on Sunday tell FootballScoop that the Vols’ search for Josh Heupel’s first defensive coordinator is centering on popular Ohio State assistant coach, Al Washington.

Greg Mattison, a fellow former Wolverine, also retired this offseason. Other than that, OSU hasn’t deal with much coaching turnover even with Urban Meyer taking an NFL job.
