There’s An Important Caveat To The Harbaugh Extension Deal

Reports surfaced Saturday evening that Jim Harbaugh will likely sign a 6-year extension with the Wolverines. As John U. Bacon notes, there is a notable part to the contract – low buy-outs for both Michigan and Harbaugh – if either decide to go seperate ways.

Harbaugh is on vacation in California, and will probably sign when he returns. But it's worth noting the NFL coaching carousel starts Monday, and could still involve Harbaugh. Perhaps not probable, but far from impossible.
