Rumblings The Lions Offered Jim Harbaugh The Coaching Job

While reporting earlier that a staff meeting is set for Monday between Harbaugh and the assistants, the latest rumor from The Wolverine’s Chris Balas is that the Lions offered Harbaugh the job:

As noted by Balas, it is just a rumor but did note that this had reached some recuits and their parents but it could be Harbaugh just using the Lions for leverage.

It is believed that Detroit, looking for both a GM and coach, was favoring 49ers DC Robert Saleh, a Dearborn native and Lions fan growing up.

We’ll see how it all plays out.
